6 “I am the LORD, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, and I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the nations, 7 To open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the dungeon and those who dwell in darkness from the prison. 8 I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, nor My praise to graven images. 9 Behold, the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things; before they spring forth I proclaim them to you. 10 Sing to the LORD a new song, sing His praise from the end of the earth! You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it. You islands, and those who dwell on them.”
-Isaiah 42:6-10
“Let the Captives Sing”, a spontaneous song, expresses what happens when the Mighty Warrior comes forth. The Mighty Warrior, Jesus, is coming to free the prisoners of women forced into sex slavery. He is coming to break every chain of little boys forced to commit wickedness as child soldiers. The Father has given the nation’s His very own Light, His Son. He will shine into every dark place exposing all the lies and the wickedness of injustice.
He will come in response to the songs from the ends of the earth. The captives will sing. Human trafficking victims, former child soldiers, women whose lives have been destroyed by abortion…they will sing. Their songs will bring the Mighty Warrior to their very own rescue.
