My sister, Kristen, sings with me on this song. Her daughter, Brianna, was diagnosed with diabetes when she was only three years old. The week of tracking vocals for this song, I suddenly came down with a cold and lost my voice. The night before we tracked this song, during the Nightwatch at IHOP-KC, God miraculously healed my voice. This song is dedicated to my friends and Brianna who are still waiting for healing. Your God will come and we will fight in prayer in the night until He does.
lyrics
YOUR GOD WILL COME
Isaiah 35:4-6
Say to those with an anxious heart,
“Behold, Your God will come to you.”
With vengeance and mighty power
He’ll come right in time
The dealing of God will come
He’ll come right in time (And He will rescue you!)
Then the eyes of the blind will be opened
And the ears of the deaf will hear again
Then the legs with no might will be strengthened
And the tongue of the mute will shout for joy!
So, do not be afraid
For waters will break forth in the wilderness
And streams will flow through the desert
